Dear Thief

At work today, a group of you and your girl friends came in. Whilst one of your friends distracted me, you went into the back room and stole what you might this of as just a "wallet" of mine. Let me clarify what you stole. You stole photographs of my best friend who passed away last year. You stole my identity. You stole the Oroton wallet I saved up for after working hard at my first job. You stole access to work on Saturday. You stole my access to University and my concession services. You stole my ability to renew my passport to Japan.

I hope you appreciate it as much as I do. If not, keep the cash in the wallet, but at least give me back my photos.

Initially I was angry. Very angry. I've been having a continuous stream of bad weeks every since University started. But what made the situation a lot more worse is the support (or lack of) I recieved from my boss. After constant reminders to fix the lock of the back room for almost 4 months now, his reply to my wallet being stolen was to "hide it" in the future. That is ridiculous! A regular customer was a lot more supportive and told me he would "take care" of the thieves if I ever find you.

Also be aware dark alleys, there might be Ninjas.

So now all I feel for you is pity. You might be $60 richer, but at what cost?

Jessica

P.S. Next time rob someone who doesn't have connections with Westfield Security. I have photos of all your faces bitches. Don't ever think of shopping at Westfields again.

Cancelled?

Today I recieved a message from a dear friend, Jess Fung, that all exchanges to Japan from UNSW, USYD and UTS are being cancelled because the Universities will be liable if anything goes wrong! I'm hoping that this only applies to the exchanges in Semester 1 because I haven't heard anything from my Exchange Advisor yet.

So because Dumbledore said "It’s the unknown we fear... nothing more", I decided to do some research and get educated about the Nuclear Disaster, and this is what I found:

Yes, I get all my facts and information from Youtube and of course, the almighty Google.

But who doesn't nowadays?

Chivalry in the Rain

I've gotten used to walking in the rain. Nowadays, you could be waiting in the rain, surrounded by people with umbrellas and not one of them would offer you some shelter. However today was different for me. A random guy walked me to the station, three streets away, sheltering me from the rain with his umbrella. I thought this event should be noted for the future references (for the rest of the male population).

I thought this song would have made the perfect backdrop music for my secret rendezvous, if only my life was a drama, then we would have lived happily ever after.

P.S. I also received the best compliment you can get from a guy. As he ran over to give me hugs and kisses, he tripped over (adorably), and confessed "You make me wish I was straight. I love you." Why is the cutest and sweetest guy gay?

Third Boob?

A few days ago I recieved an email from my exchange advisor, asking me to confirm my particpation in my exchange to Japan. Up until then I've be insistent that I will be attending, however the nuclear explosion has really worried me. I really don't want to grow a third boob (imagine trying to buy a bra!), or even worse, get bitten by a radioactive spider and turn into Spider Man!

My parents, relatives, bosses, work mates and friends have all expressed their concerns. However after watching this video, I do feel reassured!

Please don't poop Nuclear Boy!

Please

I've donated my paycheck today to the Red Cross Japan & Pacific Disaster Appeal. I'm sure everyone has seen on the news what is going on in Japan at the moment. Please don't just switch off the television and live on as if nothing has happened. Help by donating here.

Any amount will help. Please.

Under the Table?

Thankfully, my friend finally responded last night. There were apparently earthquakes happening throughout our conversation! I always thought that you were supposed to hide underneath a table when they occur? Well I'm definately packing a helmet when I go over.

Natural?

I'm devasted by what's happening in Japan at the moment. I've been sending messages to a Japanese friend to since I heard the news last night. I've been watching fire eruption at the oil plants in Chiba on the news, which is where he lives. I'm very concern for his well-being! With every news update, the situations looks like its going worse. Earthquake, Tsunami, Fire and now Nuclear Explosion!

When news strike of the disaster, I received calls from my Aunt and messages from my Manager. Its really sweet that they care so much. I was planning to leave for Japan at the end of September, but Lisa has decided to stop over at Tokyo for a week before heading off the Milan! The only thing is that her exchange semester starts a month earlier than me. So I'm thinking maybe Japan for a week, then head over to Hong Kong? Korea? The possibilies are only restricted by my bank account!

The plan so far we're leaving Sydney on 11th August 2011 (on seperate planes)! I'd arrive an hour after her but leave 8 hours before her. Yeah and its not the cheapest flight either! Just the most convenient, so I'd be in Kuala Lumpur for 3 hours.

Worlds Apart

I caught up with a old and dear friend, Lisa at lunch yesterday. She and I are both going on exchange next semester, whilst I'm going to be in Osaka, Japan, she'll be staying in Milan, Italy!! We'll literally be worlds apart! I am extremely excited for her!

I met up with Wilson after we finished Uni, and since both of us were starving, we made our way into the City for Dinner. We passed the new Galaxy World at Market City, which has indoor bump-a-cars and ended up at Seoul-Ria for Korean. I tried Bibimbap for the first time (since it was highly recommended by Wilson), but I burnt myself a few times which didn't go unnoticed and laughed at. The best thing about it was that the waitress mixed my bowl for me! I felt like I was being babbied, which isn't a bad feeling at all. ;D

P.S. You're a Dick

Never share an external HD. Especially if its with a younger sibling. Why? Because if you're sibling is anything like my younger brother, he'll delete everything of yours without asking! I've formatted my laptop recently, and so I backed up my files on the external HD. So when trying to retrieve a document tonight, I discovered THE FUCKFACE DELETED ALL MY FILES WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW! All my University work, all my photos, all my documents, payslips ... EVERYTHING!! I'm so unbelievably pissed off! I'm just about to throw his computer out the window and light his bed on fire. RAWR RAWR RAWR!

On a higher note, here's the view from level 6 ASB where I popped into help Jess Fung out with an event today:

Save Me

Anyone else excited that summer is over and winter is approaching?

Online sales are not helping my attempt to save for Japan. Whilst on the note about Japan, my Japanese Lecturer is so adorable that its distracting.

Jammed Packed

Today is a beginning of a new week and simultaneously the end of a very busy week:
  • Monday was my first day back to University. At the end of the day, I was sick of Uni already.
  • Tuesday was my second day. Rekindled with a good friend during our finance lecture, where we discussed the similarities between the lecturer and Professor Go Go Gadget. We also got into a heated argument about who is better - Spiderman or Batman? Batman of course is the obvious victor, and since she couldn't find any valid objections- she went to Google, "Why Spiderman is better than Batman?" And how did Google reply - "because Spiderman forgives"
  • Wednesday was by far the most evenful day. I woke up in the morning from a call promoting masturbation products! When I politely rejected him he tried to tempted me with free lingerie! The most disturbing part would be if my mother picked up the phone and later ask me what masturbation meant! Being Asian, I've never recieved the sex talk from my parents, and I certainly do not want to be the one who intiates that talk to them!
  • Wilson gave me Ninja Kit Kats, when I picked him up in the morning! They look so awesome, I can't bring myself to eat them!
  • We went to DFO, IKEA, Tope Ryde Shopping Centre, Office Works Auburn and Big W Auburn (where Wilson made the lamest comment ever "Wow! That is a Big W!" at the Big W Logo).
  • Even though the whole day was suppose to be dedicated to shopping for Wilson, I ended up with more bags?
  • At Night, whilst watching The Late Late Night Show with Craig Ferguson, I found out my Porn Name would be Max Wilga if I ever decided to enter the industry! (Apparently its the name of your first pet and the name of the street of your first house) But honestly, I was hoping for something more ... well more! Especially with my guns, Baby!
  • Thursday started late- I had an afternoon lecture followed by a lovely date with the Wife. Dinner at Chat Thai (the service there infuriates me so much that I vow to find my Wife a new thai place!)
  • Found out my wife can fit a size 4! She also revealed that if I had a penis, I'd be in jail! LOL! Its so true!
  • On Friday, the girl I was flirting with the day before came into my work. She did me a little favour, and place the shorts my wife wanted on hold. It was the very last one and apparently you usually can't get anything put on hold, but hey, this just shows I can get the ladies.
  • I also had my first bagel!
  • After work on Saturday, I decided to take advantage of the Ice Tea special at Woolies and buy myself a few bottles. At the check out, the guy serving me looked familiar, but I had no idea who he was. The awkward situation got worse when he said "Hi Jessica". Thank god Woolworths have name badges! Sorry Chris, I have the worse memory?
  • Oh and on Sunday, I changed my layout. Like?

I must apologies about the dodgy photos, most of them were taken by my Blackberry.

Awkward Duet

You're shopping and a song you really like comes on. Naturally, you go into a lip syncing mini concert (which includes choreography)  ...then you make eye contact with a guy across the room who was also performing his own solo.  Awkward.

It actually made me giggle like a little school girl, which didn't help the poor guy's face from going even more red.

Since I couldn't take a photo of the moment, here's my favourite version of that song:
